I have a few questions regarding the debate of Democrat/Progressive Policies. I have found that most Liberal/Progressives cannot have an honest debate, based off of facts and truths without getting their feelings hurt. How will we ever accomplish anything, when we cannot have an adult conversation about the subjects at hand? Since you say you are open to debate... I have a few questions about Liberal/Progressives, regarding Liberty and Progress that maybe you can answer for me. From what I can see, the 6 largest cities in America are run under the full control of Democrat/Liberal/Progressives. These are NY, LA, SF, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland. Every one of these cities are overrun with homelessness, crime, drug/alcohol abuse, low wage jobs, and poverty. This is mainly due to Government policies that taxed large businesses either out of business, or out of the state. These were good paying life-long careers, (remember that word?) not just part time $15/hr. minimum wage jobs. Every Liberal/Progressive idea leads to more of the same and only seems to grow big Government. These Liberal/Progressive ideals are also teaching our children that their skin color will either help them or hurt them. I see a new "White Guilt Matters" story on the news every day. There's always some rich white guy (that got rich through public office) telling people of a different skin color that the other rich white guy (that eared it himself) doesn't want them to be able to vote. When what he's really saying, is he thinks that the people he's talking to, are not smart enough to get an ID.... Then they vote for him? Are you kidding me??? Here's a little talked about fact... The Republican party was founded (out of the Wig party) with the specific purpose of giving women the right to vote, and to make slavery illegal. There was subsequently a war between the Republicans and the Southern Democrats, which the Republicans won, yet they let the Democrats still exist for some reason??? Then a Democrat killed the Man that led the charge to free the slaves. Flash forward to our first Democrat/Progressive President Woodrow Wilson. He succeeded in re-segregating our Military, and our Beloved Country until the 60's. So now the Libs have only 4 things to run an election on, tax the rich, climate "control", racism and abortion. Another fact while I'm at it... Over 70% of people in this country believe abortion is ok within the 1st trimester...after then, it drops to 90% against. So, my questions are... What does being a Liberal have to do with Liberty? And what does being a Progressive have to do with Progress? What is your favorite branch of Government? i.e.; The one you like dealing with the most? What is the Democrat's plan for when they run out of other peoples money? (this will happen) If we discover a single celled biological organism on Mars, is that life? What political (not personal) decisions, made based off of your emotions, have worked out best for you? Do you think the politicians have figured out how to control our weather? And do you trust them with this power should they have it? We tell our children never to lie to us, yet we elect our officials while ignoring their lies...on all sides of the isle!!! I'll be shocked if anyone can give me logical answers to these questions, without using some sort of degrading remarks...or CL pulls this down... Free speech??? We'll see!!! Answer these and I will explain Conservatism to you... I will say, if you live in Carmel, you most likely are a Fiscal Conservative financially, in your own personal world.... This is the origin of the term, basically live within your means and save for a rainy day.
