5k Walk for Ukraine, Saturday June 18th at 2:30pm. Register at The Healthy Boulevard or Nutrition Haven or Text "Ukraine" to 612-232-5858. Details of the event:Join us for an incredible cause in this 5K Walk for Ukraine. Cost of the event is $30 pre-registration and $35 at the door. Your registration fee will include a tea and a shake, plus giving back to the people of Ukraine. Registration is at Nutrition Haven beginning at 2:30pm, and walk begins at 3:00pm there - be sure to grab your tea before your walk! The 5K walk is directed to The Healthy Boulevard where you will receive your shake, and there will also be an awesome silent auction as well, last year we had AWESOME auction items! Note: you may have some one pick you up at The Healthy Boulevard to drive you back to Nutrition Haven and we will also have some people to drive you back if needed. Where the money raised is going: We will be providing the funds raised to Calvary Christian Church in Hastings, will go directly to the Non-Profit called State of Ukraine. Details on how and where this money is going to: Some friends of The Healthy Boulevard and Nutrition Haven have been going on mission trips to Ukraine for quite some time with this church and have gotten to know and love the people of Ukraine. The Ukraine churches they have been to during their missions have now been very involved in this Ukraine crisis and have been feeding the refugees as they come through and housing them for a night as that’s all that’s allowed for them to stay in the city. Some are coming back a little at a time .. they have many groups in 4 countries right now also.. the Hasting church also has a sister church in Germany that they has sent money to buy food and to transport to the Poland Ukraine border for the Kaniv churches to pick up. Rest assured your giving to this important cause is safe and will get directly to the people.
