Learn about different artist techniques and create art masterpieces of your own! Class date: Mon.-Wed. from 5:30-8pm Ages: 12-16 In this three day series, teens will learn the history and style of a different artist each day and create masterpieces of their own. Our goal is for each person to leave this series feeling confident having learned new artistic skills, and to have gained a greater knowledge of art history and artists. All class materials will be provided by The Walter Hive. Class schedule: Day 1: Found object assemblages Day 2: Street art inspired by Basquiat and Banksy (self-portraits and graffiti) Day 3: Linoleum stamp-making and canvas bag prints
