Fremont Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle

FREMONT, CA — A person died early Saturday morning after they were struck by a vehicle in Fremont, authorities said. The collision was reported around 12:15 a.m. when a person was crossing Mission Blvd. at Sullivan Underpass. The driver immediately pulled over, called 911 and attempted to render aid to the person, the Fremont Police Department reported. Officers and medical personnel arrived on scene to provide first aid. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver cooperated with the investigation. The identity of the person was not released.
