Seriously? How far behind the rest of the world do you want the US to be? Answer the question so I know you`re not just some Russian/Russian bot. Explain to me why this country would want to stay on fossil fuels when the rest of the world is weaning off of them? Who will want our oil then? Have you seen what other countries are doing with the going green thing? Have you seen what companies in this country are doing to go green? Green is the future, get on board or get out of the way. Eventually even the GOP will get on-board but by then it will probably be too late. We are well on our way to a planet that is too hot to live on and it`s happening faster than they predicted. Tornados, wildfire, hurricanes, floods, drought, literally every natural disaster are all on the rise and are happening in parts of this country where it usually doesn`t. I`m not even sure if going green now will do anything the damage is so bad. We should have heeded the warnings in the 80s because what they said would happen, is happening. Maybe when the Hoover Dam isn`t giving them as much water/electricity they will get it? 🙄 Let`s just say I`m glad I don`t live in the west. What you see in the pic above is the ice/snow that deflects the sun and keeps the planet cool is melting and it`s melting EVERYWHERE. How long do you think this planet will last once the majority (maybe doesn`t have to be a majority) of our ice/snow are gone? Temperatures will rise rapidly, flora and fauna will suffer then we will suffer. It`s common sense people. I wish I was dumb/blind enough to be a climate change denier so I could live in ignorance too.
