FOUND Kitten! Ivy City/Gallaudet area, around 2 months old.

Yesterday a kid (10ish) came up to our friend with this kitten. Due to language barrier (English/Spanish), she didn’t fully understand but apparently she got the impression he’d found the cat and was bringing it to her (she’s a dog walker so might be known in the neighborhood for having animals around) but that the kid then decided to adopt the cat himself. In the morning, she found the kitten had been left in her lobby. (She was on her way out of town so called us to help.) The kitten is very friendly, definitely familiar with people, but likely too young to be microchipped. We’re reaching out to the local shelter but also wanted to get the word out in the community to learn more about this little guy and ensure he makes it back to his home or on to a permanent home. Más tarde el gatito fue dejado en el atrio del edificio de mis amiga. ¿Alguien ha perdido un gatito? Estamos buscando a sus dueños o buscando un hogar amoroso para él.
