PLEASE NOTE:  We are currently looking for crew members who would like fill in from now until mid-August and then become primary crew from mid-August through Columbus Day. Awesome opportunity for someone interested in sailing and getting out on the water in beautiful Boothbay Harbor, Maine aboard Schooner Eastwind or Schooner Lazy Jack. We sail from Memorial Day to Columbus Day on two-hour sailing trips up to four times a day. Training on sailing and interacting with passengers is provided. Ability to grow with the company and document sea time if interested in pursuing your captain's license. Responsibilities • Ready boat for sailing before first trip of the day. • Help passengers board before trips. • Raise sails with passengers and captain. • Handle lines while sailing and docking. • Clean up boat after last trip of day. • Ensure outstanding passenger experience. Requirements • Outstanding customer service skills. • Pass a pre-employment drug-test. • Participate in random drug testing program through end of season. • Physically able to raise sails and handle lines. • Able to crew at least 2 days a week or fill in as needed. • Consistent daily reliability.
