Bass player, new to area, looking to play, jam, both

I've been playing fretted and fretless electric bass for 30+ years and looking to get a gig, a project, jam, a tribute setting, etc. while I get situated here. Spent a good part of my life overseas, been back a few years, and have been playing in bands thoughout. My gear arrives in a couple weeks, ahead of that I would like to connect with other musicians, maybe meet up at a local open mic. I like play at open mic jams when I get to know the vibe, crowd and what music works in those places. My background is pretty wide, not to pigeonhole myself but Classic Rock, Blues like Robben Ford or Tommy Castro or Mike Zito or Chris Duarte, late 60s-early 70s Soul and Pop, Motown, Chris Stapleton, Country Rock, Southern Rock, guitar-oriented Country like Vince Gill, Prog Rock, Hard Rock, Steely Dan, R&B like Tower Of Power, other guitar-oriented Rock like Eric Johnson or Robin Trower, Funk, Fusion, funky things like Little Feat, The Meters, Neville Bros.,Tedeschi Trucks, etc. - anything that grooves.
