The San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society has several healthy box turtles (gulf coast, 3 toes, ornates and 4" babies) ready to go to good homes. These little critters are great organic pest eradicators. Being omnivores they'll happily consume all the (untreated) slugs, bugs, and snails in your garden of Eden. Most don't get larger than your hand so they're compact as well. If interested, please take a minute to read the caresheet on our website, sdturtle.org to decide if this is the pet for you. As always there's never an adoption fee but we do ask that you sign up for a membership ($35) on the website. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all proceeds go directly towards the care and maintenance of these wonderful creatures. Also available are 4" Hermann's, Russians and desert tortoises.
