Something Special! Guitarist needed for Oct 2022 gig!

I have an intriguing opportunity for the right guitarist/vocalist! I’m a Riverside native. As a graduate of RB high school, I put together my original cover band and performed at our 50th Reunion last year as Ad Hoc Rock. Three brief rehearsals and then the gig – so it was pretty loose but we all had a blast. We performed tunes from the late 1960’s – the years we were in high school – and kept the dance floor jumping the whole time we performed. For 2022 we are doing a smaller, more intimate gathering called 70@70 (RB 1970 grads celebrating our 70th bdays this year. It will be held Oct 8, 2022 at the clubhouse of one of our classmates who lives in Westmont, and we expect perhaps 40-50 people to attend. We imagine a relaxed unplugged-style performance with a trio – Janet on vocals, myself on bass/vocals, and you on guitar/vocals. Two sets of tunes rooted in the 1960’s that will work with the setup described. I did this once with a guitarist friend at a bar in San Diego and it worked very well. Something like CS+N at Woodstock except not scared shitless. Sample tune list; We would do three rehearsals in the Chicago burbs, and then the gig, and we would pay you for your time. Please be mature (over 50), competent (expertise on guitar and ability to sing lead and harmony vocals), cooperative (attitude is everything). Thanks for your consideration! PK
