Advice on getting a cheap place

Hi, I am 33, employed. My criminal background is clean and I have a license and a car. I recently lost my place to live because my ex could not find it in herself to allow me to stay any longer after I started dating again. Bad decision on my part. I should have waited. 💯 So, I am wondering what cheapest options are until I save up enough to put a down payment on something. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks
