I’m 27, I played saxophone through middle and high school and through college with the Aggie Band and Aggieland Orchestra at Texas A&M. I’ve played in marching bands, concert bands, jazz bands, and dance bands (Glen Miller, etc), but never any outside of school. It’s been a lonely life without music since I graduated from A&M in 2017 and I’m dying to start playing with people again, in any capacity, paid or not. I picked up guitar on my own and have been playing for several years but have never played with a group. I know scales and can learn anything, just need to get my chops up. I can play bass as well. Here’s a clip of our dance band at Texas A&M, the Aggieland Orchestra. I’m in the front row playing second alto.
