We’re Sound Wire, a new band looking for a lead singer and lead guitar. Bonus points if you can sing, play keyboard or harmonica (not required though). We’re a mature (over 50), fun-loving bunch who would love to play out eventually. We do this for fun, not for a living. If you have an oversize ego or take yourself too seriously keep looking. We’ve all been around the block and have played a little of everything. We like to play guitar-based hard rock, classic rock, blues and anything with a good groove. No country, rap, pop or death metal. Our set list hasn’t been nailed down yet and is open to suggestions and vocal range. We currently have a rhythm/lead guitar (currently filling in vocals), bass and drummer. No drugs, drama and you MUST be vaccinated to play in this group! We have a PA and rehearsal space in Elgin and try to rehearse once a week (usually Friday night). If you’re interested contact us here or thru BandMix.com
