Description
This little man showed up at our house late one night, a bag of bones and laden with ticks (over 150 ). We took him to the vets for evaluation, where it was determined he didn't have a chip and had hookworms and weighed roughly 25 pounds. He was treated for them and given flea and heartworm prevention.
From day one he was a tail wagger and gratefully accepted affection. He loves to do activities with our 3 dogs ( all foster failures ) but did need work on basic commands and continues to need work on respecting personal space. He is smart and has a desire to please, so he continues making good progress in these areas, but will need someone to finish working with him in these areas. He is now almost 50 pounds and enjoys being active but does very well when things are quiet as well. He has a lot of love to give and looking for a furever family. If you would like to know more about 'Sparty', feel free to contact me at any time. Second pic is when we found him, first pic is current. He is a happy dog!
