forming original band

I am looking to eventually form an original band. I will start with weekly get together jams, I am interested in the consistency of getting together 1x a week steady. I have original material, I am very open to writing all new, depending on where it leads. I have the rehearsal space with all the stuff needed for a full band, I am open to hosting weekly. I need to find some more like minded people. I am laid back and have a whole bunch of experience. I play bass. I am 40, I have day job, do not need this for cash...I want to play more bass....thats my motive, I want to play original music weekly. I have a love/hate relationship with craigslist, I dont want to quit yet..
