HOUSEKEEPER WANTED Company Summary: Destination Management is a boutique vacation rental management company delivering unforgettable vacation experiences to guests staying at our oceanfront homes in Newport and Waldport. Seeking to hire talented and reliable individuals to join our housekeeping team. Full-time and part-time available. Entry-level and Team Lead position openings. These opportunities offer career growth for the right candidate including future possibilities as team lead, cleaning supervisor, and other assisting property management positions. Position Title: Housekeeper Position Summary: We are seeking skilled and reliable Housekeepers to maintain a clean and welcoming first impression for our guests. Our Housekeepers and management staff make it all happen. Ideal candidates are hard-working, detail-oriented, consistent, team players who take pride in their contributions and excel in a fast-paced work environment. Vacation rental cleaning experience a plus but we will also train. Good communication skills, flexible work schedule (including weekends), attention-to-detail, willingness to learn/improve, and strong work ethic a must. Job duties consist of cleaning homes per our “Always Guest Ready” cleaning checklist. Occasional interactions with rental guests require a friendly demeanor. Additional Details: • Part or Full Time Hourly (up to 40 Hours per week) • Non-Exempt • Temporary for 90-day probation period. Permanent thereafter. Responsibilities: • Preparing our beautiful homes for guest stays • Restock guest supplies • General cleaning of house • Make beds and change out linens/towels • Interacts / Communicates with Guests as needed • Take photos of property damage and email to supervisor • Create work tickets for maintenance items and send to Maintenance Tech • Additional cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: • Vacation home cleaning experience preferred • We will train hard-working individuals • Attention to Detail • Well organized and task oriented • Works well independently or as part of a team • Punctual and shows up for scheduled shifts • Personable. Professional. Able to interact with Guests. Requirements: • Pass background check and drug screening • Reliable transportation • Ability and willingness to learn • Strong work ethic and ethical standards • Perform physical labor ongoing basis. Navigate stairs/step ladder. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds • Highly dependable • Integrity Work Environment: • Primary work location is in the Waldport / Newport, Oregon area. Employee should be located in Lincoln County, Oregon. • Larger luxury homes will have a team of cleaners while smaller cottages will have 1 or 2 cleaners assigned.
