former punk drummer/guitarist/engineer-new to area

musician looking to start a band: I have 30 years experience as a drummer and 35 years experience as a guitarist. I have fronted, backed and collaborated in bands. I cut my teeth on records from The Ramones, Stooges, The Velvet Underground and 13th Floor Elevators. I am really into Pebbles comps, Back To The Grave Comps and various non American Garage comps... I like raw, primitive music but also like wild free stuff too (Ornette Coleman, Sun Ra and Albert Ayler are favorites too). I have experience recording using analog equipment and have all my own stuff for both playing and recording... just looking for the right people to start a pack of wild fogies to scour the Metro-Plex. It doesn't have to be loud (in fact, I am not a loud player) but just have that great timeless murky American underground sound. If any of this resonates with you, I am excited to hear back. Thanks
