I feel your pain man. You are so right about a lot of these so called "musicians" here in the valley who are even 50 and 60ish and still act like brainless 16 year olds. Most of these, er ah, "musicians" also seem to not have the ability to learn any songs other that the 50 or so they've been playing for the last 35 to 40 years, yet they tell you they're all "pros". It seems that what I remember pro musicians to be back on the east coast differs considerably from the very low standards that qualify someone as a "pro" musician is here.
My good man, if you want to find good solid musicians without all the drama and b/s, you came to the wrong town. Good luck in your search. You're going to need all the luck you can get around here.
