Congratulations! You have persevered and are now crossing the finish line. Now pick a time to arrive for commencement. Due to COVID-19 guidelines in place at MHCC for winter and spring, we are once again holding a drive-thru commencement ceremony. You will still get all the pomp and circumstance you deserve, but in a safer environment. Following physical distancing guidelines, graduates’ cars will enter through the Stark St. “G” entrance of the Gresham campus at your selected time between 10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and will follow the route to the graduation stage. Once you drive-thru a check in, you will exit your vehicle wearing your cap and gown and will follow directions to line up to have your name called prior to walking across the stage. Once on stage, you will receive your diploma cover, have a photo taken by a professional photographer, and be congratulated by President Skari. Friends and family members will be able to watch from inside their cars directly in front of the stage. MHCC faculty and staff will line the route to cheer and celebrate our graduates as they drive past. All students who have completed a GED, AHSD, or degree program are eligible to participate in this free event. Details including a map will be sent closer to the event. Last year's event was very successful. The families, grads, staff and faculty enjoyed the day. Lots of opportunities for photos. We hope you will join us on June 11th to celebrate and honor you! Important Note: Two vehicles per graduate is allowed in the event. Graduates who are driving themselves can park and then walk across the stage. Please sign up for only one time slot.
