Watauga County Annual Community Plant Sale--Saturday, June 11, 2022 • 7AM-2PM Hard-to-Find Perennials, Annuals, Natives, Trees & Shrubs • Houseplants • Herbs Unique Container Plantings • Outdoor furniture • Miniature Gardens • and More Just a few of our “Featured Plants” this year include rare, specialty Japanese Maples; wonderful new Coreopsis cultivars; specially chosen sunflower cultivars in honor of Ukraine; international selections of herbs and veggies; Natchez Blackberries; Heritage Dwarf Cotton; fabulous Violas; Trumpet and Oriental Lilies; American Hornbeams; unique bulbs; specialty flower mixes; Beneficial Insect mixes; old fashioned annuals of all kinds; hard to find native perennials; trees; and much, much more. “Garden Rooms”: Intimate outdoor garden spaces, featuring vintage or modern garden furniture and accessories. All items in the garden “rooms” are for sale. “Ask Us”: Don’t know what to plant in sun or shade or what will grow under that walnut tree? Just ask the folks wearing an “Ask Me” button at the sale for help. “Breakfast Break”: Take a break from your plant shopping to sit a spell in the gardens, visit with friends, and enjoy a fresh brewed coffee and local homemade breakfast treats. LOCATION/DIRECTIONS: Former Aunt Pymm’s Table Antiques Greer Historic Home & Gardens 375 Old 421 S in Boone From Boone: Head east on Hwy 421 (King Street). Turn left at stoplight at Nissan Car Dealership onto Old Hwy 421. 2nd House on Left with Antiques Sign From East of Boone: Take right onto Old Hwy 421 at light near Food Lion coming in to Boone. Travel about 1 mile. Large brick home on right with Antiques sign PARKING: Watch for volunteers directing traffic. Thanks to the hospitality of our good neighbors, there is plenty of free parking in the large Hollar & Greene Parking lot.
