A 4-Day conference geared toward empowring young Black ladies in the Dayton area to dive into the possibilities of Entrepreneurship.
What's Tea? Black Girls' Entrepreneur Conference will allow 30 student participants and community members to connect annually. The 4-day conference will allow for 50 teenage Back girls to complete workshops designed to prepare them to create a business plan for a Pitch Contest. During this 4-Day conference, participants will complete 8 workshops, team building activities, while hearing from empowering Black female figures. Overall goals include:
For participants to network with community members To become more knowledgeable about entrepreneurship and the importance of financial literacy. Promote public speaking and networking skills Provide space for young Black teenage girls to connect with one another through team building and discussion. Provide scholarship dollars to contribute to Black girls’ access to higher education
