Join the Sound Beach Civic Association and North Shore Youth Council for the debut of "The History Upon Our Shores: Sound Beach, NY" In 2019 the Sound Beach Civic Association launched a project to unearth the history of Sound Beach and make it available to the community at large. This movie, produced by SBCA member Leon Adler, grew out of the desire to celebrate the people of Sound Beach—past present and future. Join us on Friday, June 10th at the Heritage Center in Mount Sinai to see the history of Sound Beach come alive on the big screen! Doors open at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served prior to the movie with the screening beginning at 7:45pm. Copies of the Civic Association's new book, "Sound Beach: Our Town, Our Story" will be available for purchase for $20. This is a free event, but registration is required. Reserve your spot today!
