PEGASIS was recently nominated for a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award as Best World/Reggae/Ska/Latin artist $8 adv/ $10 at the door (advance sales until 3pm day of show, then available at the door). Doors at 7pm, showtime 8pm PEGASIS is made up of a vocal trio of sisters from the Dominican Republic (Marvelis, Rissel, and Yaina Peguero Almonte) and jazz guitarist Matt Hillman. Currently based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, the four members write, produce, and perform their original music. Their lyrics speak of the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, on being kind to our minds and bodies, on finding love and happiness, first and foremost, within ourselves, and accepting each other as part of the global collective we call humanity. PEGASIS is always working on new music for their audiences. In 2022 PEGASIS will release their second self-produced EP “TWO”, with all original music and a smooth funky beat. They also have many other smaller projects including their highly anticipated Spanish album in collaboration with their father, Roberto Peguero. PEGASIS loves it when people come up to them after shows, so don’t be shy! We’ll tell you all about our doggies and other hobbies (like breadmaking, playing Clue, and putting on makeup!).
