County Grounds Parks Land Stewardship - Volunteer Invasive Species Removal **Important location information in bold below** Join other volunteers for 2 or 3 hours of hand-pulling invasives including dames rocket, garlic mustard, buckthorn sprouts, and others. No experience needed, training and supervision will be provided. Registration is requested for coordination purposes. Bring your favorite work gloves, or we have ones to loan. All tools and training will be provided onsite. Appropriate for all ages, including families. Bring your own water, additional water will be available onsite. Meeting at noon at Men's Pavilion (see instructions and image below). County Grounds Park has no formal address, but can be found and navigated to via Apple/Google/Waze Maps searching “Sanctuary Woods Parking”. That parking circle is 0.5 mile north and west of 87th & Watertown Plank Road. Eventbrite requires an address, but this address only gets you close. The men's pavilion is ~200' east then south of the parking lot - see park map at: www.countygroundsfriends.org Dress for the weather, we will hold event unless there is lightning.
