This two hour beginner level workshop covers the fundamentals of cold process soap making and is a fun and creative combo of science & art. This two hour beginner level workshop covers the fundamentals of cold process soap making and is a fun and creative combination of science and art. Making your own soap is a sure way to be confident about what you are using on your body. This class will show you how to create exceptional soap for yourself using simple and safe ingredients. Each participant will make and take home one pound of soap (equivalent to 4-5 bars) and will be able to choose their own fragrance, colorants, and decorative botanicals to create their own custom bars. This is a very hands on class using oils and caustic materials; please wear closed toe shoes, old clothes, and consider bringing an apron. Erica Goulding is an avid lifelong crafter with varied interests. She discovered a love for soap making a few years ago and has been exploring different recipes and techniques ever since.
