Join Posse DC for the 2022 Posse Olympics! The annual Posse Olympics is back for the first time since 2019! This year, teams will go head-to-head in six games - the team with the most points wins the 2022 Olympics! There will be eight teams competing: one for each posse currently in PCT, one team of on-campus scholars and alumni, and one team of families. We encourage you to invite your parents, guardians, and siblings - this is a great opportunity for scholars and families to meet each other! Who: PCT Scholars, On-Campus Scholars, Alumni, and families Where: Hains Point. 927 Ohio Drive SW, Washington DC 20001 When: Saturday, June 4th from 11 AM - 2 PM Will there be food? You must bring your own bagged lunch. Posse will provide snacks and drinks. You may also bring a potluck item to share, but it is not required. How do I get there? Hains Point is not metro accessible, we recommend you carpool. Additionally, there are a limited number of reserved parking spaces. If you either need a ride or can offer a ride, sign up for the Olympics carpool here: Directions: From D.C.: Get to Ohio Drive, near the Lincoln Memorial. Keep following Ohio Drive along the Potomac and CROSS underneath 395. From Maryland: Take 395 SOUTH. Take exit towards POTOMAC PARK/PARK POLICE. Follow the signs toward Hains Point. This takes you past the Park Police Headquarters. From Virginia: Take 395 NORTH across the 14th Street Bridge. Take the POTOMAC PARK/PARK POLICE (first exit) just over the bridge. Take the exit towards POTOMAC PARK/PARK POLICE. Follow the signs toward Hains Point, this takes you past the Park Police Headquarters. From there follow directions to the park: Take a LEFT at the DEAD END onto Buckeye Dr. (The golf course will be in front of you.) Take a RIGHT onto Ohio Dr. at the end of Buckeye. Drive past the golf course to the tip of Hains Point. What should I wear? Comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers Anything else I should bring?
