Hilltop Farm & Fiber Arts is a recently established,natural dye plant nursery located in Lanesborough, MA. Your season long education will include: Planting, foraging, maintenance, harvesting, packaging & applying natural dyestuffs grown, foraged & purchased to protein & cellulose fibers. You will also learn basic farm skills (carpentry, construction, fencing, & how to think on your feet) Every day will be different as we are still building infrastructure & establishing permanent plantings. Start now, ends late fall/early winter Part-time or full-time; we are flexible but do require a set time commitment. Compensation is your education & sore muscles, sunblock, fresh water, share of our kitchen garden and dye plants/dyestuffs. Pictures are from last season & this spring.
