In technical terms, it’s a long-range, 3,000 MTOW Coaxial Rotor Remote Piloted Aircraft. The drone is successfully being flight tested by the US military, but in the end it will be a dual-use aircraft. Phenix has successfully obtained continued government funding on an accelerated basis during the highly condensed aircraft development process. Presenters Mr. Brian Riese is CEO of Phenix Solutions. Brian is a Combat Veteran Miltary procurement and contracts expert with over 30 years of U.S Army experience. During his tenure in the Army, he held an Unlimited Federal Contracting Officers Warrant and served as the Source Selection Authority for multi-million dollar Army procurement actions. Mr. Riese is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and maintains a top-secret security clearance. As CEO & President of Phenix Solutions, Mr. Riese has real-world, hands-on experience in transitioning emerging technology to solve complex requirements within today’s modern aerospace industry. Mr. Riese originally founded Phenix Solutions in 2011 as a veteran-owned services company. In 2019, he transformed the service business into a manufacturing company with new investment and shareholders from former Simplex Aerospace. Mr. Riese continues to guide Phenix to be a successful non-traditional defense contractor leveraging support from USAF Agility Prime and AFWERX programs. This intense development effort led to the rapid delivery of two initial prototype aircraft, and the first civil-certified Heavy Lift Remote Piloted Aircraft, the Phenix Ultra 2XL aircraft. The Ultra 2XL represents the culmination of Phenix’s dedication to its mission and has significant consequence for the Defense and Civil Aviation Markets.
