Join us at our Trade Day and Juneteenth Celebration for a day of hands-on learning and FUN! Do you know a teen that enjoys working with their hands?Have you heard of #TradeDay hosted by The Brown House Experience since 2019?We bring the trades to OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!Trade Day provides teens between the ages of 12-21 with the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning of three Trades of their choice. The sessions will be conducted by local businesses and entrepreneurs! Local trade colleges will also be on site to provide the participants with information on furthering their education with alternative colleges/programs.The objective of #TradeDay is to expose teens to hands-on learning in trades that may enlighten their inner tradesperson!Some students love working with their hands, but don't have access to people that are willing to take the time to share the necessary skills with them. That's where WE come in!In addition, we will host a Juneteenth Celebration for youth ages 5-11 outdoors!*STEM Stations (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math)*Art Station*Fitness Stations hosted by Athletic Konnection, NFP*Local community organizations on site with information on innovative programs*The Original Sixty Fouth Street Beach Drummers will perform at 1:30pm*Performance by Final Explosion Entertainment at 2:30pmJoin us to celebrate the 1st year that Juneteenth is recognized as a national holiday with interactive FUN!!!
