Summer Studio STEAM inspired creative Camp. 1 Session Drop In Pass YASSSSS!!! ART summer camp is back! New and Expanded. We will be pulling out all the art material for art and crafting; painting, Talking Sticks, journals, vision boards, Shrinky Dinks, clay, yarn art, recycle and upscale projects, collaging and more.....Looking for a cool and funky space young people can spend summer days unplugged from technology and engaged in fun ways to continue to build the social and emotional function of their thinking....We've got this!! Camps will be Tuesday-Thursday Starting In June and added until first week of August. Morning and afternoon sessions each day. Participants can choose 1-6 segments a week. This ticket is for all 6 sessions of Week 1. Contact me direct to schedule drop in sessions . Each session will offer 10 spots. Great way to build a students portfolio or keep them creatively engaged during summer break. Students to bring any projects, school work or favorite items they would like to use during our sessions. Bring Drink, Snacks & Lunch. Each day we will order from Crockett Row Restraunts for those who would like hot lunch bring lunch money. I will be weaving together all our years of experience to produce an EPIC space for our young people to grow socially, emotionally and academically during summer break! Looking forward to filling the studio with tons of learning and laughter this summer!!! Brandi Cottingham Art Private sessions and tutoring can be scheduled through contacting me direct. Pet Portraits have been a huge success during summer studio sessions. Participants have painted their own 4 legged friends, family and friends of the studio pets too. Some students have sold their work to suport the cost of camp or earn money for personal goals!!!! We will have a Art show where all campers will be offered the opportunity to show thier summer work, sell their work or both!! Young people will be intoduced to new materials in each segment. They will then be able to choose the projects that align with their interest and passion. Each Young person is different and summer is about spending time working on projects where our hearts and minds align. Keeping the young person engaged and inspired! "Think Out-Side The Box" is a common phrase used in many areas of our society. Creative thinking is one of the most popular attributes employers are looking for the technology driven era. Taking objects that where once one thing and then designing them into being used for something else. Young people learn how to use thier creative mind to up-cycle and re-use trash, broken, unwanted and random items into their projects. This is great way to teach design, color, texture, and how to balance both their mind and eye to create something better and beautiful!
