We're hosting our first Poker Run on 2 July at 11am to raise money to purchase sleeping bags for homeless veterans this winter season Pre-register today! We are tying in the veteran organizations in north Texas. $25 entry fee includes: Poker Hand, T-Shirt, Food, and Fun Activities along the route. You will draw a card at each stop and whoever has the best poker hand at the end wins. Indicate what t-shirt size you need when signing up. We will start at the American Legion Post 597 in Carrollton. Show up hungry since this Post loves to make a hot breakfast that you can purchase for $6. This is where we will pass out the packets and instructions. Kickstands up at 11AM after you draw your first card. The next stop will be at the American Legion Post 21 in The Colony. There you will draw your second card. The third stop will be at the American Legion Post 88 in Lake Dallas. This will be your chance to draw your third card. The fourth stop will be at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10460 in Lake Dallas. This is a close stop so where you will draw your fourth card. There may be a Wild Card spot next for your fifth card. You wont know until the day of the event. We are keeping it a secret. The final stop is the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9168 in Lewisville. After arriving there, you will have an opportunity to purchase a sixth card and eliminate one of your previous card draws. This last card draw ends at 3PM so we have time to tally up the hands. This event is for ages 18+. You do not have to be military or a veteran to enter this event. Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to riding with y'all.
