Peer2Peer weekly mentor group for pre-teens & teens. Hosted by a 501(c)(3) Peer to peer mentoring with other children. Our group of teens and pre-teens will meet once a week at the library in Statesville to mentor other children ages 10-14 in learned life experiences, Self-care, school work, mental wellness and more. The perfect place to socialize and get your child to be more outgoing with other children who understand how they’re feeling at this stage in their life. As parents we miss a lot or don’t remember how it feels to be that age. By participating in peer 2 peer mentoring your child has the opportunity to learn with children their age. It is our goal to Promote mental wellness in children and to allow children a safe place to express themselves through fun activities learning materials and more. The Orange Ribbon Club is here to help you change the face of stigma Especially from commonly suffered mental diagnosis such as depression anxiety ADHD ODD and other common childhood diagnosis Meetings will be held weekly on Saturdays for children 10 to 14 at the local public library in Statesville for more information, please visit our website at www.theorangeribbonclub.org
