Dallas's pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery starts its annual outdoor Porch Sale season in 2022.
Outdoor plant-shopping is a long-running spring tradition in Dallas, but it's even more fun when the plants are carnivorous. The Texas Triffid Ranch, Dallas's pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, is taking a short break on indoor open houses in order to finish a much-needed renovation and redesign, so the festivities move out onto the porch through the spring and summer Come out to view a wide variety of carnivorous plants, including North American pitcher plants (Sarracenia), Asian pitcher plants (Nepenthes), Australian pitcher plants (Cephalotus), sundews (Drosera), butterworts (Pinguicula), bladderworts (Utricularia), triggerplants (Stylidium), and of course Venus flytraps (Dionea), all in unique containers and enclosures. Admission is free and masks are recommended. For more information, please check out http://www.texastriffidranch.com.
