Part time delivery assistance needed in early December and then again in April and late July or early August for delivery of tourist brochures to local businesses throughout Tucson. The job involves delivering handfuls of brochures (20-to-30 brochures) to various retail stores, galleries, museums, Bed & Breakfasts, bank lobbies and other locations throughout Tucson. There is nothing complicated about this job, however, the position requires someone who is reliable, personable, efficient, organized, and takes pride in their appearance, as you will be interacting with store owners, managers and employees - although for less than a minute or so at each location. Basically, you will simply walk into a store, gallery, etc., then let the owner, an employee or manager know that you “have more visitor brochures” for them, and hand them a handful of brochures. The delivery schedule can be very flexible. For example, if you wanted to work two hours one day, three hours the next day, skip a day and so on this would be fine. As long as the brochures are delivered within a seven-day period however you want to divide your work hours up is fine. The candidate must have the ability to store approximately 30-to-50 cardboard boxes (12” x 9” x 9”) of brochures at any given time. Storing the boxes outside is fine, as long as the boxes are safe and secure. The boxes weigh approximately 23 pounds each. The pay is $30.00/hr, which covers your gas, etc. Estimated delivery time to complete delivery is approximately 25 hours. References required.
