Join us for the launch of the Rising AZ Investor Network and learn how you can start supporting our community's entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are the fabric of our local economy however access to capital is often one of the biggest gaps preventing business success, especially for diverse founders. Startup Tucson's new Rising AZ Investor Network (RAIN) is designed to help individuals in Southern Arizona learn about how they can invest in local and diverse entrepreneurs using new forward-looking capital raising mechanisms. The program includes free investor education, qualified investor mentors and access to a database of local founders currently seeking support. Participants can expect to learn about equity-based crowdfunding, impact investing and more traditional investing including angel and VC funding. You do not need to be an accredited investor to participate. The evening will include networking and an introduction to the RAIN program and goals. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
