Sunny Mission ceramic studio has communal spaces available.
Our studio offers 24/7 access to all of its members with no long-term commitment required. We are an artists’ cooperative, so 100% of your rent and firing fees goes to maintaining the studio.
We offer private spaces for $300 a month for 50 square feet. Other larger sized spaces are also available at proportional rates. We also offer communal studio spaces for $200 a month.
In our communal space, you would have an entire shelving unit to store your work and material. (Most other studios only offer one shelf or a small locker to store your work-in-progress, greenware, bisque ware and all of your working materials).
Our space also offers a rooftop deck to dry your work, take care of dusty work or just provide a civilized space to eat.
We will happily fire your work for you, but if you would prefer to have complete control of your firings, we would train you in how to use our kilns.
