Paces Mill Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation is a moderate 1.5 hour hike along the river. Round trip time, hour or less. Greetings, My name is Mercedes. (@evolution.of.her on Instagram) I’m an Atlanta native that stumbled into hiking while in college. In 2017, I relocated to Northern California where I gained a deep love for hiking and outdoors. Fast forward to 2021, I’m back in Atlanta and fascinated by the beautiful geography that I barely tapped into while living here. This group was created with that in mind. I’m determined to explore all the nature that Georgia has to offer. I thought, why not bring you all along? Redefining, the phrase ‘We Outside’ post pandemic. A few inquiries turned into an Eventbrite group and hopefully a community of beautiful people appreciating the beauty of their state, physical ability and fellowship.
