While we are hosting "Perspectives" Art Out of the Pandemic," we are thrilled to bring you even more ways to get involved in local art! As part of our series of "Art on the Mezz," join us to try your hand at photography fundamentals, with featured artist, Kurtis Burkett . Using your own camera or camera phone, Kurtis Burkett will lead you through a workshop highlighting beginning photography techniques. Explore the core principles of creating pleasing photos with any camera, at any budget. Learn important photography techniques and tools such as composition and the exposure triangle, and how to use and manage your camera to obtain results in any condition. Learn some tips for using budget friendly gear that can help achieve creative results. You will even get to practice on some subjects at the museum! This workshop is geared towards beginning photographers, and anyone with an interest in taking better photos! Age 16 and older recommended.
