Lets pull some weeds! Help us keep our downtown clean and green. Help keep Bethesda weed free! Bethesda Green and Bethesda Urban Partnership are working together to keep downtown Bethesda beautiful, and we need your help. Join us for one (or more!) of our upcoming dates to pull weeds from sidewalks and tree boxes all through Bethesda. No prior knowledge needed - team leaders will help distinguish between weeds and wanted plants! Participants will be provided with tools and water. SSL hours available for students. The 2022 events will take place once a month: Friday, April 22nd, 3pm-5pm (Earth Day!)Saturday, May 21st, 10am-12pmSaturday, June 18th, 10am - 12pm Meet at Bethesda Urban Partnership Inc, 7700 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814, USA. Look for a RED tent set up on the Arlington Rd. side of the building, across from Bethesda Elementary School, this is where we will start from. This event is free, and open to all - come individually or bring a friend! If you'd like to support Bethesda Green programming, you can add a $5 donation ticket at check out. We hope to see you there!
