Offer an array of services to include hand gun and rifle instruction that can be administered in a group or private setting. Here at Shoot Your Shot Defense, we believe that every eligible law abiding citizen should exercise their right to carry. At the core of responsible firearm ownership is a commitment to safety. The State of Florida allows both resident and non-resident applicants to be issued concealed carry permits. We will spend 45 minutes to an hour in a classroom setting reviewing rules and regulations and state laws, in addition to live fire training. Due to reciprocity laws between states, the Florida concealed carry permit is currently recognized in 36 additional states. This means that if you are a Florida resident, and you hold a valid concealed carry permit, you can legally carry concealed in any of the other 36 states recognizing the Florida permit. In order to be eligible for a concealed carry permit in the state of Florida you must meet the criteria listed below. I certify that I am of legal age to hold a permit from the state of Florida. I certify that I have not been deemed mentally insane by a court of law. I certify that I do not have a restraining order or protective order issued against me. I certify that I have never been convicted of a felony, nor have any charges pending. I certify that I am not an unlawful user or distributor of any illegal drugs. I certify that I have not been dishonorably discharged from any branch of the US Armed forces. Attendees are responsible for range fees.
