Facilitator Bio: Sumayyah A. is an artist and healer with roots in the Caribbean and transient residence in the DMV who has been living a nomadic, minimalist lifestyle for the last 5 years. While her enjoyment of the outdoors and connection with Mother Earth prompted a natural gravitation towards van-life, it was her free-spirit and growing consciousness that propelled her into a more nomadic lifestyle. As a massage therapist, spoken word artist, African dancer, jewelry artist, and birth worker, Sumayyah’s mission is to utilize her art to heal, nurture and uplift the African nation of the world one mile at a time.
