With spring's arrival, Eden Prairie Police often see an increase in calls regarding two dog-related problems: owners not picking up their dogs' waste and owners allowing their dogs off-leash in areas which are not designated as off-leash. Both are violations of city code.
As a reminder, dog owners must immediately remove waste from public and private property (other than their own property). Also, the City's off-leash dog parks are the only public places dogs are allowed off-leash in Eden Prairie. Dogs must be leashed in every other public place.
