Art Camp offers your child the creative opportunity to learn about art, create original art projects and most of all-to have fun! Students will learn art fundamentals, create individual artworks plus a group project, meet exhibiting artists and have access to a REAL gallery! Each week is different, all summer long. Summer Camp Themes Session 1: June 20 – 24 World Explorers Art Camp! On our imaginary trip around the world, we will explore animal habitats and migration using sculpture, collage, painting, weaving, and printmaking, with Claudia Schwalm Session 2: June 27 – July 1 Masks, Mache & Make Believe! Create Masks, Dragons and more with Paper Mache, with Julie Barrett Session 3: July 5 - 8 Mixed Media Mania! Cement! Wood! Paint!..and more! Create 2D and 3D art and crafts with a variety of materials. Bring your imagination and get ready to soar! with Linda Nygard Session 4: July 11 – 15 Continue Exploring the World! Continue to explore world art on another adventure. (First timers welcome!) with Claudia Schwalm Session 5: July 18 - 22 Art with an Attitude! Create t-shirt designs, charcoal drawings, and more, using mixed mediums to learn about Positive/Negative space in art, with Julie Barrett Session 6: July 25 - 29 Experimental Art and "I Can Act!" In Experimental Art we will create new ways to make art! It's a lab gone made with creativity.
