I'm a songwriter and producer. I love making music with friends and I'm starting a pop rock project with a bassist/guitarist! I live in Hawthorne (Manhattan Beach / Culver City area) right now and have my home studio setup here. I'm good at helping create contrast between sections, a high impact memorable hook, and contrast in the melody too. I like choosing strong concepts that work well during the promotion and release strategy with strong visuals that go with the concept too. I plan to play shows (local in LA) as a band and pitch the songs to synch. I'm free on weekends (and sometimes weekdays like Thursdays and Fridays during the day) to collaborate on recording tracks together and then start working with a female singer. I like if you help lay down the bass and guitar parts and we get a vibe. I work in Logic Pro X. I can play keys and program drums, let me know if you also program drums. It's nice to work in the home studio to get down the groove and rough ideas first. We can also jam in a rehearsal space to write or rehearse the songs as they're ready for shows. I'll work with the singer to finish writing and recording the topline. I have a lot of experience with vocal production, tracking, tuning, and comping.
