I am a recent doctoral graduate working on a book based on my dissertation, Visually Representing Health Care Management for Carceral Populations. I am LOOKING FOR FORMERLY INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS who can discuss incarceration's impact on their health care management. Furthermore, I would love to provide art supplies and/or host an art-making workshop to coincide with the interviews so that individuals can visually tell their stories. Alternatively, if the interview participant is not interested in creating art, I'd like to discuss the option of having an artist interpret their work. I will be in Montgomery June 13-16 and will be offering $25 Visa gift cards for participant's time. Please contact if interested, have questions or referrals. Thank you.
