Rehoming a Husky/German Shepherd mix. We have a beautiful fixed male (15months?) that needs a new home. He is super sweet! He just loves my chickens/goats too much, however, he is best friends with our cat. He never barks! Shedding is minimal with good brushing. We got him from a shelter about 6 months ago. Because he was in the shelter for a while he is behind the curve on training and needs someone who is experienced and wants to work with a very smart dog. He knows sit, stay, come, leave it, bring it, drop it, off, down, yard. His recall is iffy, but with consistency he will improve with age. We think he is a little over a year, still has baby teeth. Super food and play motivated! He needs a family that he can be with most of the time. He thinks he is a little lap dog, not the guard dog that I need. I am only rehoming because of my chickens/goats. His prey drive is too high and he has not adjusted as I'd hoped. He is scared of cows, however, so if you have cattle, but no poultry, he will do well. He won't go near a cow. He has several acres to explore here, but he stays pretty close to the house and has never run off, so he's not a roamer. Price is negotiable for the right family.
