I want to "install" a portable air conditioner unit. (Dual hose)
Out of the box, it contains a "snap window assembly kit," for setting up the necessary hose venting to the outside of the house.
But I don't want to interfere with the room's window. Instead, I want to create holes in the actual wall (brick, sheetrock).
Something like this:
So the job is creating an appropriate hole in the wall (or 2 holes, or one hole wide enough for two tubes/vents).
Would like to do this using things we can purchase at the local Lowe's or Home Depot.
Would like the finished result to look good, but it doesn't need to look perfect. The important thing is to create the necessary venting, with a good seal, and a way to block it in the winter.
