We have been manufacturing custom glass panels, partitions, railings & mirrors in the Tampa Bay Area area for over 40 years. We are seeking material handlers to become apart of our growing team. This position will consist of handling heavy material and placing material onto an edging or waterjet machine. This is an entry level position. Must be able to complete QC and solve basic problems and able to lift 75- 80lbs regularly. This is a manufacturing environment and requires experience with hand tools and utilizing a measuring tape. This is a great opportunity for someone beginning a career or looking for a career change. Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail oriented and enjoys working hands-on! Position is physically demanding and requires lifting on average 75-80lbs and 100+ sheets of glass daily. This working in a non-climate controlled environment. Schedule: Monday-Thursday (4 day work week) 5:00am starts Qualifications: -Must be mechanically inclined -Must be physically capable to lift 75lb regularly -Ability to utilize a measuring tape -Previous manufacturing or construction experience is a plus! -Must have reliable transportation -Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening **We are not seeking your average CNC precision machine operator or programmer. Machines are already programmed. This roll is physical in nature and must be able to lift 75-80lbs regularly** Compensation starts $18.00/hr per hour.
