ISO: Small dog for deaf daughter

Hello! Our family is looking to welcome a dog into our home, primarily for my deaf 7 year old, with some emotional support needs. I also have 2 other kiddos who are 13 and 18mo, so the dog needs to be good with kids! I’m hoping that we could find a young-adult dog, preferably under 45lbs! I am not able to pay a large adoption fee, so rehoming would be a good option for us. Also hoping that the dog is UTD on shots and is fixed. If anyone has any information on a dog that might work for us, please let me know!
