Found cat in Chico!!! This is a BEAUTIFUL cat, someone should definitely be looking for this cat. This cat appears to be a Persian or Persian cross or something. Unfortunately, it does not have a chip, so that makes this whole process a lot harder. I help and rescue animals, so I was brought an “injured” cat yesterday evening to try and help. The finder called animal control who told them to put the cat back where they found it (unfortunately, I do not know where that location is, other than in Chico) so being worried for the cat’s health, they brought the cat to me, hoping I could help. Luckily, kitty doesn’t appear to be too “sick” or “injured,” however, it does appear to have the worst case or ringworm/fungal infection I’ve nearly ever seen. PROOF OF OWNERSHIP IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED BEFORE I HAD THIS KITTY OVER, it needs its family AND medical care. On Monday so will be taking it to Animal Control to see what they can do if I show up in person vs over the phone.
